We work with other groups and organisations through advocacy coalitions to collectively tackle the barriers that hold back women entrepreneurs and press for policy change.
Women7
Women7 is the G7’s official engagement group of feminist civil society promoting gender equality and women’s rights. We were members of W7 throughout 2022, advocating the G7 to realise its commitments to advancing women’s entrepreneurship, particularly by tackling the gender stereotypes that hold women entrepreneurs back.
We were very pleased to find that the final Joint Statement of the G7 Gender Equality Ministers said that the ministers “will follow the call of the W7 Communiqué to ‘provide tailored support for women entrepreneurs, and ensure their equal access to finance, markets, procurement opportunities”.
