It’s the final year of our 100,000 Women Campaign…!

Now in its final year, our Campaign is closing in on its goal of supporting 100,000 more women entrepreneurs. Here's what we've achieved so far, what's left, and how you can join!

Launched at Davos in 2020, the 100,000 Women Campaign is our rallying call to companies, business leaders and philanthropists everywhere to take action to close the global gender gap in entrepreneurship.

Our Campaign set out to build on our successes so far and see us support a further 100,000 women in low and middle income countries to start, grow and sustain successful business. It also aimed to amp up our advocacy work to create a more enabling entrepreneurial ecosystem and stop women being unfairly held back.

To do all this, our Campaign also carried the goal of raising £10 million to enable our work, reach these women, and in turn create incredible impact for their families, communities and economies.

How did we achieve this?

Together with our partners and thanks to the support of our donors, we’ve delivered our programmes across the world, harnessing the power of tech and adapting each programme for the local context.

HerVenture: Our multiple award winning business skills learning app for women entrepreneurs at the start-up and early growth stages of business development. After launching in Indonesia and Vietnam, the Campaign also brought HerVenture to Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and Guyana.

Road to Growth: Our intensive seven week training programme, designed to support women SME owners become investment ready. It’s currently run in Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and Guyana, and previously in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Mexico as part of the Campaign.

Mentoring Women in Business: Our gold-accredited online mentoring programme, pairing women entrepreneurs in any low and middle income country with business professionals across the globe for a fully supported 1:1 mentor-mentee relationship for a year.

Help us make it 100,000

One hundred thousand women entrepreneurs. That’s one hundred thousand thriving micro, small and medium businesses, and in turn millions of people worldwide impacted as staff, family and community members.

We’re so close to achieving our goal – but we can’t do it without our partners and without generous gifts from people and companies like you. Our funding target for 2022 is £2,300,000. Support the Campaign today and together we can build a better, more equal, more prosperous world!

The growth of my business has had a tremendous impact on the people around me.

Arewa Tobiloba, Founder of Adire World, and Road to Growth alumna

Arewa took part in our Road to Growth programme in Nigeria in 2020. She is one of the 70,000 women entrepreneurs supported by the Campaign so far.
