Business Bootcamp 24: Weathering the storm – planning for the ups and downs in business

The purpose of this webinar is to explain to you the fundamentals of managing challenging circumstances in business. It sets out the core processes of identifying and managing risk and enables businesses to prepare for different types of risks. The webinar also provides tools to manage recovery and rebound effectively from business setbacks.

Having completed this webcast, you will be able to identify, assess and manage key risks in your business, plan for efficient and effective recovery, incorporating lessons from failures and use the tools taught to quickly rebound from setbacks.

Our speaker, Kavi Kumar, is an international banker/practitioner and trainer with global cross border experience in loans, bonds and financial markets and has had a banking and financial services career spanning over 12 years with top tier banks including Citibank, BNP Paribas and Barclays in UK, Europe and Asia. Kavi also runs her own business lecturing at institutions such as the University of Cambridge, European Investment Bank and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants on key topics in finance, business and strategy, has an MBA in Finance and Strategy at the London Business School, a First Class Honours Degree in Finance and Strategy at the National University of Singapore and is a Fellow at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK.

Closing the gender gap in entrepreneurship

The Business Bootcamp webinar series forms part of our recently-launched 100,000 Women Campaign. Over three years, it will see the Foundation directly support over 100,000 more women entrepreneurs in low and middle-income countries and, through advocacy, work to create a more enabling global business ecosystem for women.
