Road to Growth Nigeria: celebrating the graduation of our third cohort!
We are delighted to celebrate the graduation of the third consecutive cohort of Road to Growth in Nigeria!
This month, 250 women entrepreneurs across Nigeria concluded their seven-week journey of financial literacy and investment readiness, graduating from our flagship Road to Growth programme with flying colours. With a global pandemic taking its toll on businesses all over the world, and a disproportionate impact on women-owned businesses, these entrepreneurs dedicated their time to our intensive blended-learning course, learning both through in-person and online classes, and forming valuable networks to help protect, strengthen and grow their businesses.
Delivered with our local partners the Enterprise Development Centre, the programme is made possible thanks to the support of the ExxonMobil Foundation.
After a year like no other, it’s fantastic to see Road to Growth’s latest graduates excited about the new skills they have learned and how these can be applied to their businesses to ensure they are not just surviving, but thriving post-pandemic.
We are delighted to share some of the messages of those who graduated below, and offer all these incredible women entrepreneurs our sincere congratulations and the best of luck for the future!

Our third Road to Growth programme in Nigeria forms part of our ambitious 100,000 Women Campaign
Road to Growth is highly scalable and adaptable. The Foundation is actively seeking funding partnerships to enable the programme to launch in, but not limited, to Rwanda, South Africa, Ethiopia, Uganda, Ghana, Tanzania and Mozambique, with each iteration carefully adapted for a local context.
