What we did in 2025

Women entrepreneurs delivering success

Behind every statistic is a woman like Zandile Manyisa from South Africa, who, as an owner of a paints business, experiences barriers and discrimination in a male dominated industry. But with the support of our award-winning app HerVenture, she improved her bookkeeping, embraced digital marketing and expanded her product range – and doubled her client base, increased revenue by 50% and created new jobs in her community.

Read Zandile’s story and some of the stories of women we supported below.

What’s next in 2026?

As always, we are adapting to the rapid changes in technology, shifting markets and wider business environments so that we can effectively support women entrepreneurs to respond with confidence to new challenges and to seize new opportunities.

We’re building on what works while pushing to strengthen our offer, deepen our impact and expand our reach through digital tools. We are also exploring how AI can open up new opportunities for women-led businesses. Our partnerships with local partners, the private sector, philanthropic funders, government and women entrepreneurs themselves remain central to this work.

No impact without our partners

We would like to thank all our partners, donors and supporters, without whom all of our work wouldn’t be possible. Most of all, we would like to thank the women entrepreneurs who we have worked together with to create this impact. When women entrepreneurs succeed, the impact reaches far beyond their businesses. It strengthens families, creates jobs, and helps entire communities thrive.

The generosity and belief of our partners and funders are helping women entrepreneurs build stronger businesses and create lasting change in communities around the world, and I am so proud of what we have built together.
