HerVenture in Guyana
Our free business skills app HerVenture has supported over 3,000 women entrepreneurs in Guyana to grow their businesses.
HerVenture is one of the Foundation’s three flagship programmes. The business skills mobile learning app provides women entrepreneurs of micro and small enterprises with the knowledge and skills to successfully grow their businesses. It has reached more than 50,000 women to date, supporting over 3,000 women in Guyana alone.
The app offers essential business training and support on the go. It features nine learning tracks on a range of topics, including launching a business, accessing finance, expanding market access and e-commerce.
HerVenture has been available in Guyana since September 2021, where it’s already supported more than 3,000 women to strengthen and grow their businesses. The app’s continued success is made possible thanks to our funding partners ExxonMobil Foundation and in-country delivery partners ActionINVEST Caribbean.
