Join us in advancing women’s entrepreneurship and boosting women’s economic justice around the world.
We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed financial professional to serve as Independent Member of the Finance Audit & Risk (FAR) Committee. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about women’s economic empowerment and will show strong commitment to our organisational values. The Independent Member will provide advice and scrutiny on a range of matters including risk management, control frameworks, financial reporting processes and internal and audits.
Specific skills and experience that are sought include, but are not limited to:
- UK accounting practice
- Ability to engage with the review of accounts
- Understanding of professional financial standards
- Ability to engage with external auditors
- Internal auditing
- Risk management
- UK charity governance
Please note, this is a volunteer position and is unpaid.
