We’re looking for a Mexico-based organisation to partner with us in bringing our award-winning HerVenture app to women entrepreneurs across Mexico!
The Foundation is recruiting a Mexico-based delivery partner to work with us in developing
a stakeholder map of the key actors working on women’s entrepreneurship and economic
empowerment across Mexico. The partner will also support the engagement of women
entrepreneurs with micro and small sized enterprises on the Foundation’s HerVenture app
through in-person and online activities and networking.to women entrepreneurs with micro
and small sized enterprises across Mexico. As the app dissemination will be led by a local
marketing agency, the partner will need to work closely with the agency to coordinate key
activities as well as provide insights on women’s entrepreneurship in Mexico to support this
dissemination.
As this is the first time HerVenture has been launched in Mexico, the partner will also work
with the Foundation to contextualise the existing 9 learning tracks and advise on any new
content. The partner will also review the Spanish translation (which will be completed by a
translation company) of the HerVenture content and test it with a small group of women
entrepreneurs to ensure the language is suitable for the HerVenture target audience.
Our ideal collaborator would have:
- Experience adapting entrepreneurship and/or financial literacy curricula for women entrepreneurs.
- Understanding of the women’s entrepreneurship and economic empowerment ecosystem (including key actors) in Mexico.
- A proven record of designing and implementing high quality projects on entrepreneurship skills development.
- Experience in delivering innovative projects that use mobile technology to support development outcomes – such as through app based learning or e-learning.
- Access to a network of women entrepreneurs in urban and peri-urban areas, especially in and around Mexico City.
