This webinar is part of our free, open-access Business Bootcamp online training programme. Developed with Accenture, it has been released in response to the professional needs of women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries, arising as a result of COVID-19.
Business Bootcamp 1: Understanding business models and registration formalities
The purpose of this webinar is to provide you with an overview of the main business models that are available and to make you aware of the various registration formalities that may apply in your country, as well as provide some basic principles for entering into contracts. By the end of this session, you will understand the business entity options, compare the advantages for each business model and know that there are formalities for registering your business.
Our speaker, Joanna Tall, is an expert with over 20 years of experience advising clients on all things that make a business tick and founder of an online law firm for women entrepreneurs.
Closing the gender gap in entrepreneurship
The Business Bootcamp webinar series forms part of our recently-launched 100,000 Women Campaign. Over three years, it will see the Foundation directly support over 100,000 more women entrepreneurs in low and middle-income countries and, through advocacy, work to create a more enabling global business ecosystem for women. This in turn will empower them to create better futures for themselves, their families, their communities and the world.
How can you support us?
With major implications for economies, businesses and entrepreneurs around the globe, the need for our work during this time increases. If you are able to help by making a donation to our 100,000 Women Campaign today you’ll be enabling us to continue and expand the services women entrepreneurs need more than ever to support their families, communities and societies for years to come.
